The Tent Character Remains. The Structure Goes Further.

Jaisalmeri Suite Tent does not rely on one canvas shell to define the entire accommodation. Solid brick side walls create a more substantial enclosure, while the tented roof preserves the visual character guests expect from a stay in the Sam Sand Dunes.

Above the room, that roof is built in four stages: an exterior PVC blackout layer, a second fabric layer, insulation and an inner fabric finish. An air gap between the upper structure and interior layer adds another part to the design, creating a more considered tent envelope without losing the feeling of sleeping beneath fabric.

The approximately 400 sq ft layout combines a king-bed bedroom with wooden flooring, an open entrance lobby with seating and an attached private bathroom. Solid side walls frame the room, while the patterned inner fabric overhead keeps the tent character visible from inside.
