Into the Dunes

Two Ways to Enter the Thar.

Camel and jeep safaris begin with the same landscape but reveal it at very different speeds. Choose the slower rhythm of a camel ride or travel farther into the desert by open jeep, with both experiences available around sunrise or sunset.

Farther Into the Desert

Open Jeep Safari

Travel deeper into the Thar and cover more of the landscape in an open jeep. The approximately 20-kilometre return route can carry up to six guests, making it a natural choice for families and small groups exploring together.

Dining at Bhavya is rooted in the food guests expect to encounter in Rajasthan, while still leaving room for familiar North Indian dishes. The story begins before the kitchen too, with vegetables coming from Bhavya’s own farm in Barmer.

Vegetables used at Bhavya come from the resort’s own farm in Barmer, around 100 kilometres from Jaisalmer. It gives the kitchen a direct connection to the produce before it becomes part of the meals served back in the desert.
