Your Stay

Choosing the Right Way to Stay.

Bhavya is unusual in bringing together canvas, mud, golden stone, timber and a family suite within one desert resort. The right choice depends less on a room name and more on how you are travelling.

Six distinct accommodation categories.

Larger Stay

Maharaja Amaan Luxury Suite accommodates up to 5 guests.

Family Suite

Family Luxury Bunker Suite accommodates up to 4 guests.

Compare Tents & Suites

Bhavya offers six distinct ways to stay: Maharaja Amaan Luxury Suite, Wooden House, Golden Stone House, Bhavya Luxury Suite, Family Luxury Bunker Suite and Jaisalmeri Suite Tent. They differ in architecture, layout and character rather than simply carrying different category names.

Maharaja Amaan Luxury Suite is the most generous option for a larger travelling party, with one king bed, two twin beds, two bathrooms and space for up to 5 guests. The Family Luxury Bunker Suite is another family-oriented option and accommodates up to 4 guests.

Weather & Packing

Dress for the Desert, and for the Season.

Jaisalmer can change character considerably between the warmth of the day and the hours after sunset. Pack for the season you are travelling in rather than assuming the desert will always feel warm.

October · November

Warm Days, Cooler Evenings.

Daytime conditions are generally more comfortable than summer, while evenings can feel noticeably cooler. Light daytime clothing with an additional layer for after sunset is a sensible combination.

December · January

Prepare Properly for Cold Desert Nights.

These are the coldest months of the Jaisalmer season. Days can still be pleasant in the sun, but temperatures fall considerably after sunset and during the early morning.

Pack Warmly

Bring a proper warm jacket or coat, along with layers you can add as the temperature drops. Warm trousers, closed shoes, socks and a scarf or similar winter accessory are particularly useful for outdoor evenings and early mornings.

February · March

The Desert Begins to Warm Again.

Conditions progressively become warmer as the season moves towards spring, although mornings and evenings can still feel cooler than the middle of the day. Flexible layers remain useful.

What to Bring

A Few Things Worth Putting in Your Bag.

01

Layers

Clothing you can add or remove during the day works particularly well in a desert climate where daytime and evening conditions can feel very different.

02

Winter Warmth

For December and January, pack more than a light layer. A genuinely warm outer jacket or coat is the safer choice for nights and early mornings.

03

Practical Footwear

Comfortable closed footwear is useful for moving between the resort, dunes and outdoor experiences, particularly during the cooler months.

04

Sun & Desert Essentials

Sunglasses, sun protection and something that can cover the head or neck remain useful even in winter, when the daytime desert sun may still be bright.

Before You Travel

Desert weather varies from day to day. Check the Jaisalmer forecast shortly before departure and pack additional warmth if colder nights are expected during your stay.
